Improved Diagnostics Training Project 2024
Posted 7 months ago
The Improved Diagnostics Project (IDP) is a three-year long project that would see IOAN set in place early diagnostics protocols with affiliated organizations in Cameroon, areas of Eastern Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana beginning in 2024 through 2027. Training of staff is a critical piece in the success of the IDP. Priority training would be for CT scans, dialysis treatment machines and the use of other modern diagnostic equipments. The goal of the IDP is to incrementally reduce diagnostic wait times and improve treatment outcomes in diseases that have shown better outcomes with early interventions.
The IDP will be carried out in association with selected institutions in the afore mentioned countries. We are excited to announce that training for 2024 has been scheduled from June 24 through July 19th in Dallas, Texas.
